Heavy…

March 2nd, 2010

Oh it just keeps getter better with those PS3 games, just received Heavy Rain in the mail! THIS IS THE SHIT, man!
This is true immersion…

What a superb photo-realistic game this is, it even has some origami to fold in the box, and I Love origami..!! Go sony for all those innovative games lately!!
Love to see ALL the endings on this one. Bummer I had to skip an extra day of Heavy Rain on 1-3-2010 for the stupid PS3 2010-leap year bug. SONY: Please give me some Free Heavy Rain DLC, I lost all my HR trophies due to your stupid date bug!
(PS: At 70% trophies now for BatMan AA. ..)

Gaming is still fun and Vidzone is superb!

February 2nd, 2010

Playing the PS3 game BatMan Arkham Asylum now! Especially the scarecrow levels are really cool. What a nice game! What a nice implementation of the Unreal engine! Although the battles are sort-of button bashing, it is still quite rewarding if you get the combos right! And the real sense of stealth in this game…Love this game.. Also  playing a little Demons Souls on the side :-)

But what about Vidzone!! Got to love this little music app ! With the content for free, ready to stream all those cool MJ videos (Thriller)..Also found a lot of those old eighties clips.. We all love vidzone! One remark only why don’t you upgrade that Browser on the XMB, It is just silly when you click on a VidZone link you have to shut down Vidzone to start the Browser !!!!..

Playing the hardest RPG on the planet…

December 13th, 2009

Finished UC2 in the hardest level and ordered my frist import PS3 game: Demon’s Souls.

Wow, this is hard. If you start a level, there are no “savepoints”, so when you die you die and have to start over.

So you must MANAGE your health!! Just like in real live. However the goodies you picked up will still be in your possession.

Still adapting to this new found hardness (and liking it) :-)

Uncharted 2, uncharted greatness!

Kung fuuuhaeyaaaaaa

August 23rd, 2009

I never write about bad games, I find it a wast of my time and bandwidth. Just another great game again! Yes!

“Rag Doll Kung Fu™: Fists of Plastic” is just a little (cheap) gem you can buy at the PSN. Easy multi or single player fun! If you want to play it with your family (up to 4 players at once) or just to kung fu on your own, you can! The fun games and the absence of blood and gore makes this a real PS3 family game… Oh yeah, it even has DODGEBALL :-D

Mii hates Wii!!

March 20th, 2009

You are playing on an overpriced console an overpriced overrated game with an overpriced gimmicky plastic wheel. Now some kid scratched your overpriced cheapo disc so you can’t play it any more.. Now you think you can return the scratched disc and get a new one (for some handling fee ofcourse) because for all that overpriced-ness you expect some SERVICE in return.. But nooooo, you get some kid on the phone telling you can order it for the price of 38 euro’s, that’s almost the same as a new one!

Nintendo, didn’t you make enough money on the zillionth port-o-iteration of Mario Kart already, did’t I pay you enough money to play it? Why can’t you simply send me a new game when I send you the scratched disc.

Hooked on Home : Red Bull air race!

March 1st, 2009

After completing most of the story Little Big Planet Levels, I just played the Red Bull Air race at Playstation Home..

It is a little bit disappointing how little information there is on this game..
First the way to enter is cheesy and than you have to discover the controls all by yourself (Right analog stick makes it faster!).
But after these headaches you can play the most addictive game in Home!

0:50:79… not bad for a pimpy programmer… only 3 secs slower than the fastest on the net.!!

Little Pimpy Planet

January 19th, 2009

What a f******* great game!.. You could easily have been misled by the “kiddy platformy” aura of this game.. But boy what was I wrong!

The level of detail and and photo-realistic feeling of the the playing world, not to mention the breathtaking physics engine… You have to play it for yourself, don’t take my word on it… This game got its AAA status at the moment it arrived at our home. Everyone in the family just want to play with it, single or co-op it is just absolutely PIMPY!
