YES.. GTA IV in the mail today!!!!!!!

What a great game… They even incuded sixaxis (!!) support in GTA IV specially when driving bikes!!!

Aah … I’m totally hooked ! A great little waste of time before GTA4 !! And a superb reason to use my PSP once again..  With that same addicted “FF” feeling when you play it for while…. You just want to level up!

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core. Even with that same quirky music score as in FF 7 on the PSX!!!

Got myself a nice cheapo NAS box, (Synology ds106j, 500 gb) with so-called “mediaserver” features, all nice and so but it did not work on my trusty PS3..

.. So I had to do it by myself, working towards a new version of PimpStreamer DLNA at the same time..

Anyway download and enjoy the 1.2 release with

- VOB support and other files (you need a FAST lan)

- Now you can run multiple instances on 1 network.

- cleaned up dir listing (no more double entries)

- cleaned other misc stuff

I’m baffled… the TOTAL idiocracy… ! What am I rambling about? The totally insane outcome of a class-action-lawsuit settlement involving some granny and the creators of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas…

According to the settlement the creators have to pay people who were shocked by the “Hot Coffee” mod, which by the way had to be delibarately activated by the “poor victims”..

And yes now US citizens can get certain amounts of money back. Used for those who were “shocked” by the moving PIXELS…!!

AARGH…

Hereby I pleed for a BIG DONATION action to counter-act this crazyness. I’m glad to donate $5.00 to the creators of GTA, as a big TIP for all the great hours playing the game!!!!

About a month ago got me the complete 7 Star Trek Voyager seasons at once.. The temptation was too big.. had to watch them… Conclusion: zero dev-time…

Anyway I hope 2008 will be more productive in order of homebrew .. But with that many great features on my PS3 (being DivX) and lots of games still in the box… dunno..

OMG, just played ONLINE as an individual soccer player in an ONLINE team.. Fifa 08 is da bomb.. With teamspeak, just like a regular soccer match!!

Also the fact that I can switch on/off and control my PS3 with my PSP, even from the Internet.. Sony has done this right!

Still pimping some software (commercially) but the PS3 has clearly taken over for the moment.

Anyway still working on finishing my next game. And also designing some new stuff. Nuff said, folks… my PS3 is watining..

Got me a PS3!! Totally amazed of the full spectrum of entertainmant this beast can provide!! Tried to stream video to my PSP, it worked out of the box!!
:-D (not so good as PiMPStreamer ofcourse, but anyway)

Added Tversity as media server.. what a great app! Seems that you can run Linux on your ps3 also!!!

Anyway.. Back to motorstorm and Fifa 08! And waiting for GTA 5.. ahem 4!!
